Crosslines Ministries houses a roughly 45,000 square ft. garden area. The area is utilized in a partnership with the Ozark Gateway Master Gardeners and the University of Missouri Extension office, a partnership that started over 10 years ago. Crosslines’ garden hosts a greenhouse, as well as a new pavilion. This garden acts as a pantry garden for the Crosslines food pantry. Fresh produce items such as spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers are grown in the garden for direct distribution through our pantry. These fresh vegetables allow us to keep a stock of nutritious and delicious foods available for our clients. The pavilion is an exciting new addition to our garden area. It is designed to host classes on topics such as container gardening, DIY garden irrigation systems, and more. Upcoming plans for our garden include over 35 more raised beds, a sensory garden for the public to enjoy, as well as raised beds that allow our disabled neighbors to participate in gardening.
